Our Mission Statement
The Connecticut Bible Society is committed to encouraging people to read and study the Holy Bible. We desire to glorify God, through the distribution of God's Word to those who would not have access to the scriptures because of their circumstances, were it not for the activities of the Connecticut Bible Society. Our challenge is to use the variety of means available in the world today to expose people to the truths of the Bible with the conviction that "All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness..." (11 Timothy 3:16 New RSV.)
